Well, I suppose this was inevitable. I've liked DES for-frikkin-ever and never bought one because a) I had no idea of what kind of personality she'd have and b) I'm not into the more common and almost 'stereotypical' fantasy characters like Elves and their general roles/personalities, that wouldn't fit in with my dollieverse at all.

But as I was absentmindedly skimming pics of DES today, the words: "I'm a nymph, and my name is Orchid." Flashed into my mind, and suddenly I knew the personality and the role. Don't ask how a nymph will fit in better than an elf would in my generally-all-normal-reality-non-magical BJD set-up, but it just will.

I still plan to reincarnate Dorian, lucky for me I found an unexpected and convenient buyer for his current form--my mom! My mom's always loved him best out of all the BJDs she's seen, so I offered him to her just in case, and she decided to take me up on it... But now I'll have a doll-scheme to fiddle with whilst I decide the exact doll/look I want to use for the next version of Dorian, and wait to see if Dollshe releases any more nonlimited dolls that may work so I don't end up with 2 of the same head mold.

Seeing as I may be going on a trip in a couple weeks, all of this will be months in the making, and therefore it at least won't be overload through happening too fast.

So this would bring me to 4 dolls, which is by my standards, kinda nuts. But hey, Milan needs someone her height to hang out with, no?

And that's my feeble justification. It works for me, people, it works for me.

Jen, did you see the suntan Bermann by Anu? I can't really see Dorian as the tanned type, but I am glad you managed to keep Dorians other form in the family... see what I mean with Matilda? And DES.... I know you used to go on about her before she was released.. I've had a softish spot for her too, but like so many others, its gotta wait. So you're getting a full doll, then? Not just a head? Can't wait to see how you paint thisone... I love your unique style and the fact that you make your dolls look so different to all the other dolls who are the same models.
